Fake Blood (edible)
Ingredients:
Corn Syrup
Cocoa Powder (For baking, yeah?)
Red and Blue food coloring. (Blue optional)
Water
Vanilla Extract (optional)

Pour your Corn Syrup into a bowl or cup, it's best to use disposables for easy clean up. The amount of Blood you end up with will be slightly more than the amount of Syrup you use. Add a few drops of food coloring to make it feel like you're making blood and not co-co syrup.

Add Cocoa Powder, about 1/8th the amount of Corn Syrup. The cocoa powder gives the blood its thick, brownish color. Use a wisk to get rid of any lumps that may form.

Add more Food Coloring. Don't be shy with the Red stuff. You want a deep, dark red. (optional) Add one or two drops, very little, of the Blue food coloring for stray un-oxidized cells. Again (optional).

Add water until you get a consistency that's slightly thicker than milk. (optional) Add a few drops of vanilla extract for flavor.

Apply GRACIOUSLY. Thin areas of blood tend to look pinkish. Works great on skin and around mouth, but may stain clothing.
